William Manees Rogers, 86, died peacefully at the hospice facility at Rogue Valley Manor, Medford, Oregon after battling Parkinson's Disease, Cancer and Sepsis. At his bedside with him were his wife, Sandra, and daughters, Sue and Janette..

He was born January 20, 1940 in Juneau, Alaska to William Manees Rogers, Sr. and Virginia Clegg Rogers. With his father working in several locations, he began school in Palmer, Alaska and other schools in Texas and Oregon before graduating from high school in Lander, Wyoming in 1958. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1963 with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics.

While working in Denver, Colorado during the summer of 1961, he married the former Dorothy Carolyn Hannah of Fort Collins.

Following graduation, he traveled to Huntsville, Alabama with his family to began his successful software development career with major computer companies like IBM, Control Data, and NCR. Later, he started his own company, Pacific Automation, providing computer support to banks in Honolulu, Hawaii. In the 1960s, he twice performed contract work with USAID for the US Marine Corp in Northern Vietnam and again for the US Air Force in Saigon.

William closed out his career by forming another company with his wife, Diana, the Manees Loetel Corporation, providing a wide range of services from data processing to inter-computer communications for banking and credit card customers.

In addition to traveling all around the US, he was an avid world traveler who enjoyed visits to Canada, Mexico, Europe, North Africa, Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. He especially liked to organize family gatherings and tours to many of those places. His love of animals was legendary. No matter where he lived, he always collected at least one pet dog, cat--or one time a bunny. His special connection with his current cat, Alice, was undeniable.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Jilton Rogers; his daughters, M. Sue Medeiros of California and Janette M. Rogers of Nevada; and his son Kenneth S. Medeiros of Nevada; his brother Charles R. Rogers of Oregon; his grandson Daniel L. Morgan and granddaughter Christina M. Achoka of Nevada; and great grandchildren, Kylie, Palin, Benjamin, William; step great granddaughters, Lexi and Emma; brother-in-law Thomas E. Prinslow, nephew Garrison T. Prinslow and cousin Cynthia Clegg of Washington.

Bill was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth Rogers and 2 former spouses, Jane and Diana
